| Roscoe Village was a prospered port on the Ohio and Erie Canal during the early 1800's. The development of railroads and the devastation caused by the 1913 flood ended the prosperity of the village. |

| The Warehouse Restaurant use to be the center of commerce at one time where goods were traded on the Ohio/Erie Canal. It is supposedly haunted by a woman and child and by a former town constable. |
