Lemp Mansion
F.C.G.D was contacted in the Summer 2004 by National Geographic Television regarding a 10-part documentary series called Is It Real?. We were asked to be the in the segment titled Ghosts, in which we were to debunk the paranormal happenings at the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, Missouri. We readily agreed and thanked Dana and French at National Geographic for the opportunity.
The Lemp family dynasty has been quietly forgotten over the years. Once a prominent family in the St. Louis area, the Lemp family was diminished to nothing more than an old retired Brewery and the bed-and-breakfast Mansion. Where the late 19th century witnessed the Lemp family rise into a dynasty, it was the early that 20th century witnessed the Lemp family?s tragic demise.
