Blue Limestone Park
Located in Delaware, Ohio, Blue Limestone Park was once a limestone quarry. The main park consists of a playground, baseball fields and a pond. The two retired quarries are located in the back of the park and are separated by train tracks. The quarries are accessible via a man-made tunnel intended for the Delaware River. It is this tunnel that some claim to be haunted by dozens of ghosts.

On a clear, crisp February afternoon, we ventured to Blue Limestone. We had the unfortunate company of two rather large, stray dogs that were wandering through the park the day we arrived. The dogs were walking towards Route 36 (away from us) on the train tracks and we hoped we were out of harms way for the time being.

Walking across the field toward the tunnel, the tracks can be seen as the horizontal line in this wide angle pan of the park.
This is a picture the dogs on the tracks. They are hard to make out, but if you look closely at the circled area you can make out one of them.
This picture is of the pond to the left of the park.  Almost direct center is the tunnel.
